Amanda Myers

Senior Full-Stack & UX Engineer — Angular · .NET · Design Systems

Senior full-stack, frontend-driven engineer with 26 years of research-driven software development — 20+ in front-end and UX. I build useful, beautiful products people love to use. My niche: encoding a design system where coding agents actually read it, so generated code lands on pattern instead of drifting from it. Persistence, curiosity, obsessive attention to detail, and a strong bias toward action.

Skills

Front end: Angular v21 (standalone components, signals), TypeScript, RxJS, React, Sass, responsive design, accessibility, design systems, component libraries
Back end: .NET 9, C#, ASP.NET Core, REST API design, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, ClickHouse
Design: Figma, design tokens, coded components, user research, lo-fi → hi-fi prototyping, Apache ECharts
AI-assisted dev: Claude Code, Cursor, MCP tooling, agent skills & hooks, AGENTS.md instruction bridges, pattern audits

Experience

Senior Front-End Software Developer · Kapoq

Franklin, TN · Aug 2021 – present

Full-stack engineer on a multi-tenant SaaS platform powering Amazon, Walmart, and Criteo marketplace advertising — joined pre-customer and helped carry it to profitability. Driving Kapoq's AI-assisted development practice on a brownfield Angular/.NET codebase.

  • Build features end-to-end: Angular v21 components and reactive state, ASP.NET Core REST APIs on EF Core, SQL Server schema, and ClickHouse analytical queries powering tenant-facing reporting.
  • Lead the design system and component library — tokens, accessibility, responsive layouts, Kendo UI/Bootstrap interop, Sass module migration — paired with AGENTS.md instruction bridges so coding agents inherit the same patterns a senior engineer would apply.
  • Develop reusable agent skills, hooks, and MCP tooling (pattern audits, UI reviews, schema-aware code generation) that turn one-off engineering judgment into always-on guardrails.
  • Contribute to the Angular v21 modernization (standalone components, signals, native control flow) and the Apache ECharts data-viz consolidation.
  • Set the front-end patterns that hold a mixed Bootstrap/Kendo/Material legacy surface together, and pair on architecture as new work lands against it.
